## Exam Day Rules

- **Not accepted as ID:** Ration Card and Learner's Driving Licence.
- **Name must match:** the name on the call letter must exactly match the photo ID. If your name has changed, bring the Gazette notification, marriage certificate or affidavit.
- **Late comers are not allowed.** Report well before the reporting time printed on the call letter for biometric authentication, photo capture and instructions. You may visit the venue a day before.
- **Biometrics:** your right thumb impression, left-eye IRIS and photograph are captured at the venue. Remove contact lenses and spectacles for IRIS capture; wash off ink or mehndi and keep fingers clean and dry.
- **Not allowed inside:** mobile phone, calculator, Bluetooth device, earphones, any watch, camera, pen drive, geometry or pencil box, writing pad, papers, goggles, handbags, belt, cap, hair-pin, hair-band, metallic items and eatables. Only a transparent water bottle is allowed. Avoid rings, earrings, nose-pins, chains, pendants, badges and brooches.
- **Rough sheets** are given at the venue and must be returned with your Registration No., Roll No., Name and Date written on them.
- **No travelling allowance** is paid for attending the test, and a request to change the allotted examination centre will not be entertained.
- A candidate who violates the instructions is disqualified and asked to leave the venue. Copying, or receiving or giving assistance, also leads to disqualification.
- If a technical problem occurs, candidates may be moved or the test delayed, and a re-examination is at the Bank's discretion. Candidates not willing to move or to take the delayed test are rejected from the process.
- A "Report Question" button is available on screen to report an issue in any question.
- The Bank analyses answers for similarity and may cancel candidature. The handout asks candidates to take note of The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.

## Scribe and Compensatory Time

- A candidate who needs a scribe arranges one at their own cost. The scribe should be from an academic stream different from the post, must not be a candidate in this recruitment, and must not write for another candidate.
- Compensatory time (20 minutes per hour) is given only to candidates who opted for it in the online application.
- Fill the scribe declaration form and submit it with the call letter. Candidates with less than 40% disability also need the certificate (Appendix I) and letter of undertaking (Appendix II).

## What Comes After the Descriptive Test

The notification says that, for Scale IV, V and VI, selection may comprise Group Discussion (if required) and/or any other test or assessment and/or a Personal Interview, depending on the number of applicants. The interview carries 100 marks, with minimum qualifying marks of 50 for General/EWS and 45 for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates. Candidates are called for the interview in a ratio of 1:3 against vacancies; the Bank may modify this. Only candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in a Group Discussion or any other test (if conducted) are called for the Personal Interview. Depending on which stages are held, the notification makes the final merit list from the aggregate of the online examination and the interview, or of the Group Discussion / any other test or assessment and the interview. The Bank has not said which applies to this descriptive test, and has not published its weightage or qualifying marks.
