On 25 September 2026, UPSSSC moved it, for unavoidable reasons, to 25 October, 30 October and 1 November 2026, with the same two shift timings. The notice of 12 October 2026 repeats the new dates. The old dates of 23 and 24 October are no longer in the schedule. The exam is proposed in **60 districts** of Uttar Pradesh. The notices do not say which date or shift each candidate will get. ## District Slip vs Admit Card - **The district slip is for knowing your exam district.** UPSSSC issued it so that candidates know their exam district in advance. Its notice says plainly that this slip is not the admit card for PET-2026. - **The admit card comes later.** UPSSSC will inform candidates separately, through its website, when the admit card is issued. It has not given a date. - **You need a valid admit card to sit the exam.** The notice says bringing a valid admit card to the exam is compulsory. - **Admit card link on the website:** the Examination section on UPSSSC's home page already has a **"Download PET Exam Admit Card"** link ([admit card page on the official website](https://upsssc.gov.in/upssscadmitcard/AdmitCard.aspx?ID=P)). It asks for the same registration number, date of birth and gender. UPSSSC has not yet announced that the admit cards are issued. ## If the Download Does Not Work - **Rejected applications cannot download it.** The download page says you can download the slip only if your application status is not "Rejected" and your exam has been scheduled. - **Use the details from your application form.** The registration number, date of birth and gender must match exactly what you entered in your UPSSSC application form. - **Forgot your registration number?** On the upsssc.gov.in home page, open the **Know Your Status** section and click **"Know Your Registration Number"**. ## Official Notices and Links - [UPSSSC notice on the PET-2026 exam district intimation, 12 October 2026, Hindi (PDF)](https://aijobalert.com/documents/upsssc/upsssc-pet-2026-exam-district-intimation-notice-5a46582c.pdf) — [original on upsssc.gov.in](https://upsssc.gov.in/ViewPdf.aspx?jAU6hktxazvm4Lxx+kRM7RO6W5+P3HdSzrpMn1pW3TI=) - [UPSSSC notice with the revised PET-2026 exam dates, 25 September 2026, Hindi (PDF)](https://aijobalert.com/documents/upsssc/upsssc-pet-2026-revised-exam-dates-notice-1820bd27.pdf) — [original on upsssc.gov.in](https://upsssc.gov.in/ViewPdf.aspx?NJbKyTiDxAqQnRYKCqojRTHwngIdnR5KGQXPSU/8zc0=) - [UPSSSC notice with the earlier PET-2026 dates (23 to 25 October), 9 September 2026, Hindi (PDF), now replaced](https://aijobalert.com/documents/upsssc/upsssc-pet-2026-exam-dates-notice-september-3ef02d82.pdf) — [original on upsssc.gov.in](https://upsssc.gov.in/ViewPdf.aspx?PA/fJh/lxObOB7cITC5EX8On43KGKg8R7nLWBSVT5Kg=) - [Download PET Exam Advance Intimation of Exam District (official website)](https://upsssc.gov.in/upssscadvdistinti/AdmitCard_wc.aspx?ID=P&L=ac) - [Download PET Exam Admit Card (official website; admit cards not issued yet)](https://upsssc.gov.in/upssscadmitcard/AdmitCard.aspx?ID=P) - [UPSSSC official website](https://upsssc.gov.in/) The PDFs above are copies of UPSSSC's own notices, saved on this site.
