It releases your admit card in two parts, each tied to **your own exam date**. Once you understand that, you can work out when yours will open without waiting for a news alert. ## The two-step rule 1. **Exam City & Date intimation** (the "city slip"), along with the SC/ST travel authority: about **10 days** before your exam date. 2. **e-Call letter** (the actual admit card): about **4 days** before the date shown on your city slip. Both come from the RRB CBT schedule notices. RRB calls the exam dates in those notices tentative. ## Expected dates for RRB CBTs, October–November 2026 These are worked out for the *first day* of each exam. The JE city slip went live on 17 October. Section Controller candidates who clear the CBT take a Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), which has no negative marking. Minimum qualifying marks for all four are 40% for UR and EWS, 30% for OBC (NCL) and SC, and 25% for ST. ## The Aadhaar rules that stop people at the gate Read the Aadhaar rules in the notices as carefully as the admit card itself: - Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication is done at the centre before you enter the hall. - Carry your original Aadhaar card or a printout of your e-verified Aadhaar. - If you have not verified your Aadhaar yet, log in at rrbapply.gov.in and do it before the exam. - Keep your Aadhaar **unlocked** in the UIDAI system before exam day, even if you verified it while applying. - Your Aadhaar should show your correct name, date of birth (as on your Class 10 certificate), a recent photo, address and father's name. If you have locked your Aadhaar biometrics in the UIDAI app or website, unlock them before exam day. Otherwise the biometric check at the centre can fail. ## Where to download Both the city slip and the e-call letter are released through the official RRB websites. Log in with your registration number and date of birth.
