You must state your preference between the two school types in the form, and it cannot be changed after the last date. ## Eligibility **Urban post:** graduation, plus a basic teacher-training qualification (2-year BTC/D.El.Ed, BTC Urdu, special BTC, RCI-approved special education diploma, 4-year B.El.Ed or NCTE-approved elementary education diploma), plus a pass in a state or central TET. **Affiliated primary post:** graduation, an NCTE-recognised BTC or D.El.Ed, and a TET for Class 1–5 conducted by the UP Government or the Government of India. The minimum age is 21 on 1 July 2026.
