2. **Document verification** — Originals are checked against the application; any discrepancy leads to summary disqualification.

4. **Medical fitness** — As per the Bank's requirement.
5. **NATS contract** — Selected candidates must accept the digital apprenticeship contract on NATS within the time given. A State-category wise wait list is kept for up to one year from the result, or until the next engagement exercise if that comes earlier.

## Canara Bank Apprentice 2026 State-wise Seats

The 3,500 seats are divided State/UT-wise. You can choose seats in **only one State/UT**, so check your State's numbers and its local language before applying. ## Photo, Signature, Thumb Impression and Declaration Size

All four uploads are compulsory. Without them, or without a successful fee payment, the application is invalid. Scan at a minimum of 200 dpi in True Colour and save as JPG/JPEG.

| Upload | How to make it | Size (preferred) | File size |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Photograph | Recent passport-style colour photo, light (preferably white) background; no cap, hat or dark glasses | 200 × 230 pixels | 20–50 KB |
| Signature | Sign on white paper with a black ink pen; not in CAPITAL letters | 140 × 60 pixels | 10–20 KB |
| Left thumb impression | On white paper with black or blue ink | 240 × 240 pixels in 200 DPI (3 cm × 3 cm) | 20–50 KB |
| Handwritten declaration | In English, on white paper with black ink, in your own handwriting; not in CAPITAL letters | 800 × 400 pixels in 200 DPI (10 cm × 5 cm) | 50–100 KB |

**Declaration text** (write it exactly, with your name):
“I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

A signature or declaration in capital letters is not accepted. If you have no left thumb, the guidelines say which finger or toe to use instead; name it in the uploaded image. You can bring a photo or signature to the right size with our [photo and signature resizer](https://aijobalert.com/photo-signature-resizer). ## Documents for Verification

When called for document verification or engagement, bring the originals and one self-attested photocopy of each. Not producing them means you will not be engaged.

1. Printout of your online application (system generated)
2. Proof of date of birth: birth certificate from the competent authority, or SSLC/Class 10 certificate with date of birth
3. Photo ID: Passport, Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Driving Licence or another statutory photo ID
4. Mark sheets and certificates from SSC (Class 10) onwards, including semester/year-wise mark sheets and the final degree, with proof that your graduation result was declared on or before 01.09.2026
5. EWS: Income and Asset Certificate in the Government of India format
6. SC/ST/OBC: caste certificate in the Government of India format; for OBC, the non-creamy layer certificate must be valid as on the date of the notification
7. PwBD: UDID card and disability certificate from a Medical Board in the Government of India format
8. Any other document supporting your eligibility

If you studied the local language of your chosen State in Class 10 or 12, keep that mark sheet or certificate: it exempts you from the local language test. Merit is based only on what you enter in the online form. Any mismatch found at verification leads to summary disqualification.

## Mistakes to Avoid

- **Only one application.** If you submit more than one, only the latest valid completed application is kept.
- **Name as in your Class 10 marks card.** If your name has changed, use the Gazette notification or marriage certificate.
- **No changes after submission.** Name, category, date of birth, address, mobile, email, State and districts cannot be changed once you click COMPLETE REGISTRATION. Use SAVE AND NEXT to check each page first.
- **Check for the confirmation.** If you do not get the email/SMS with your registration number and password, treat the application as not registered.
- **Do not press Back or Refresh** while paying, as you could be charged twice. If no e-receipt is generated, the payment may have failed: log in again and pay.
- **Keep your email and mobile number active** until the process ends; the Bank corresponds only by email.
- **Do not send the printout** to IBPS or the Bank. Keep it for document verification.
- Ex-Servicemen are not engaged under this scheme. You must disclose any pending criminal case in the form.
- Candidates attend document verification at their own cost. The Bank is not responsible if you rely on information from unauthorised websites, job portals or social media.
