## Selection Process

1. **Screening** — Screening and eligibility are based on the details you give in the application.
2. **Merit list** — Prepared on fulfilling the experience criteria where prescribed and on the marks and merit you secured in the SSC JE 2024, CGL 2024 or Stenographer Grade C 2024 exam (as made public by SSC), or on your GATE 2024/2025/2026 Architecture and Planning score for Senior Assistant (Architecture).
3. **Document verification / interview** — Provisionally eligible candidates are called for document verification. Names are published on the ITPO website and call letters are sent to registered email IDs only. ## How to Apply

5. **Pay or submit** — UR, EWS and OBC pay ₹1,000 online through the portal's payment gateway by debit card, credit card, UPI or net banking; the guide says only the ICICI Bank gateway counts and other modes are rejected with the fee forfeited. SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen skip payment and submit. Nothing can be edited after submission.
6. **Verify and print** — If you paid, log in again and check that the payment shows as received; if it does not, email ITPO with your transaction details. Print the form with your Online Application Number and keep it safe.

Qualifications through open or distance learning are considered. Enter your percentage of marks to two decimal places in the form. If your University awards CGPA/OGPA/DGPA/CPI, convert it into a percentage as per the University's conversion norms and bring the University's equivalence certificate to document verification. ## Rules to Know Before You Apply

- Only Indian nationals can apply. PwBD reservation needs not less than 40% relevant disability, shown by a medical certificate from the competent authority.
- Reservation applies only if your caste is in the Government of India list of reserved communities. OBC candidates need an OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate as per the Central List and must declare before appointment that they are not in the creamy layer. - Candidates already employed in Central/State Government, autonomous bodies or PSUs must bring the NOC to document verification, or their candidature is cancelled. An undertaking to resign, an NOC acknowledgement, a resignation letter or experience certificates are not accepted in its place.
- At document verification bring the original certificates, a valid proof of identity and one set of self-attested photocopies. If your identity is in doubt, a document is missing or any information does not match, your candidature is rejected; no extra time is given for originals. No TA/DA is paid.

- False or wrong information, or any misconduct such as impersonation, canvassing or false certificates, leads to rejection at any stage, even after joining.
