## Selection Process

1. **Computerised lottery** — Eligible applicants are selected by lottery through online software of the Department of Information Technology & Communication (DoIT&C), Rajasthan, body-wise and category-wise against the advertised posts. The advertisement mentions no written exam or interview.

3. **Priority 2: experience in the same district** — If posts remain, candidates with 1 year of experience in another urban local body of the same district.

6. **Medical fitness and police verification** — Selected candidates submit a fitness certificate; police verification is done on final selection.

## How to Apply

2. **Complete One Time Registration (OTR)** — Fill your category, disability status and home state. After OTR, name, father's name, date of birth, gender and ID details cannot be changed. If you register with an SSO ID (not Aadhaar/Jan Aadhaar), upload your Secondary marksheet and one ID document.
3. **Pay the OTR fee if you have not paid it before** — ₹600 for General (Unreserved), ₹400 for reserved categories and persons with disabilities. Those who paid the OTR fee earlier pay nothing again. Pay before the last date.
4. **Choose one urban local body and fill the form** — Pick only one body. Enter your Jan Aadhaar number (mandatory). Tick the Scheduled Area column only if you are a local resident of the Scheduled Area.
5. **Live photo and signature** — A live photo and your visible mark are mandatory. Signature or thumb impression in black or dark-blue pen, scanned and cropped, JPEG, 20 KB to 50 KB; mobile-phone photos of the signature are not accepted.
6. **Submit and keep your Application ID** — The form is submitted only when an Application ID is generated; Preview is not submission.
