## Next Stage: Main Exam Pattern, Call Letter and Final Selection

- Trained apprentices of SBI who meet the advertisement's conditions (including an engagement start date on or after 1 January 2022 and one year of branch experience completed successfully on or before 27 August 2026) get a bonus of 2.5% of the maximum marks, that is 5 marks out of 200.

##### Main Exam call letter

- SBI's notice: the link for downloading the Main Exam call letters for successful candidates will be made available shortly.
- As per the advertisement, the call letter can be downloaded from the Bank's website tentatively from 10 days before the exam date.
- At the Main Exam, bring the Preliminary exam call letter that was authenticated/stamped at the Prelims centre (with the authenticated copy of your ID proof) and the Main Exam call letter. ##### After the Main Exam

- **Local Language Proficiency Test:** provisionally selected candidates who have not studied the specified local language of their State in class 10th or 12th must take this test. Those who produce a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate showing they studied the opted local language do not need to take it. A candidate who fails it is not offered appointment.
- **Wait list:** a wait list of up to 50% of the vacancies (State-category wise) is kept, valid for one year from the final result.
- **Pay:** starting basic pay ₹26,730 (₹24,050 plus two advance increments for graduates). The advertisement puts the total starting emoluments at around ₹46,000 per month at a metro like Mumbai. Probation is at least 6 months.
