IBPS released the CRP PO/MT-XVI Main exam call letter on 24 September 2026 for candidates shortlisted in the Preliminary exam. You can download it until 4 October 2026, the day of the Main exam.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will hold the Main exam for Probationary Officers and Management Trainees (CRP PO/MT-XVI) on 4 October 2026. The date comes from the IBPS tentative calendar for 2026-27, dated 16 January 2026.
You will get a Main exam call letter only if the Preliminary exam shortlists you. IBPS published the Preliminary result status on 23 September 2026. You can check yours by logging in on the IBPS website.
IBPS released the Main exam call letter on 24 September 2026. Shortlisted candidates can download it from ibps.in until 4 October 2026, the day of the exam. IBPS has also published the information handout and scribe guidelines for the Main exam on the same page.

Each test has its own time limit. All objective tests are set in English and Hindi, except English Language. The descriptive paper is in English only. The Main exam runs for 3 hours 10 minutes in total, and IBPS says you should expect to spend about 4 hours at the venue.
IBPS does not allow candidates who arrive after the reporting time printed on the call letter to take the exam.
