The Rajasthan Forest Department has fixed the schedule of the Physical Standard and Efficiency Test (walking test and physical measurement) for Forester (Vanpal) Direct Recruitment 2026. According to an office order of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force, Rajasthan, signed on 16 October 2026 and published on the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) website, the tests will be held from 26 October to 21 November 2026, at division level, for 1,413 candidates shortlisted from the written exam held on 28 June 2026 (category-wise result of 14 August 2026). Each candidate must go to the division headquarters on the date, time and place printed against their roll number in the order. The roll numbers for each slot are only in the PDF. The test is qualifying in nature, and a candidate who does not appear is not given another chance.

The Forest Department order divides the 1,413 candidates into 1,164 in the NTSP column and 249 in the TSP column of its table (Jodhpur 8 and Udaipur 241 are in TSP). The order prints these two column names without expanding them.

For candidates of Scheduled Tribes and communities named in the rules (for example Assamese, Bhutanese, Garhwali, Gorkha, Kumaoni, Ladakhi, Mizo, Naga, Nepali and Sikkimese, and those from Arunachal Pradesh, Lahaul and Spiti and Meghalaya), the minimum height is 152 cm for men and 145 cm for women.
Walking test: male candidates must walk 25 km and female candidates 16 km within four hours. The physical standard and efficiency test is qualifying in nature. These standards are from rule 19 of the Rajasthan Forest Subordinate Service Rules, 2015, as printed in the advertisement.

Normally there is no second chance. A second chance for the walking test can be considered only on a government hospital disease certificate, or in an unavoidable case with written information to the concerned Chief Conservator of Forests before the fixed date.
