The Railway Recruitment Boards will hold the Computer Based Test for Section Controller under CEN 03/2026 on 12 and 13 October 2026. The dates come from the RRB notice of 11 September 2026, which calls them tentative.
The Exam City & Date intimation opens about 10 days before your exam date. The e-call letter opens about 4 days before the date on that intimation. For 12 October candidates, that puts the city slip around 2 October and the e-call letter around 8 October.

Each question carries 1 mark, and you get 120 minutes. One-third of a mark is deducted for each wrong answer, and marks are normalised across shifts. RRB says the section split is indicative.
The CBT is a screening stage. Candidates shortlisted on their normalised CBT score go on to the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), which has no negative marking. The minimum marks to be eligible are 40% for UR and EWS, 30% for OBC (NCL) and SC, and 25% for ST.

Check your name, photograph, exam date, shift, reporting time and venue. Print the e-call letter and carry it with your Aadhaar.
