SSC will hold CGL 2026 Tier-I from 30 September to 30 October 2026. Each candidate’s Admission Certificate comes out 2–3 days before their own exam date. Exam city details are already available through the candidate login on ssc.gov.in.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold Tier-I of the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2026 from 30 September to 30 October 2026. It is a computer-based exam. SSC set these dates in its notice of 12 September 2026.
According to SSC’s notice of 21 September 2026, you can now see your exam city by logging in on ssc.gov.in. Your Admission Certificate (admit card) will be available through the same login 2–3 days before your own exam date.
Admit cards come out in batches, one exam date at a time. If your exam is on 30 September, expect yours around 27–28 September. If your exam is later in October, yours will come later.

You get 1 hour for the paper, with a 15-minute timer for each section. Candidates eligible for a scribe get 1 hour 20 minutes, with 20 minutes per section. Each wrong answer costs 0.50 marks. All questions are in English and Hindi, except the English Comprehension section.
