GPSC and GSSSB exam dates for October to December 2026: GPSC subject papers on 29 Sep, 3 and 4 Oct, the GAS/GCS Class 1-2 Mains and the ACF and Accounts Officer Mains lists on hold until a Gujarat High Court judgment, and GSSSB CCE Mains months. In English and Gujarati.
Gujarat has a dense exam season ahead. GPSC's subject papers fall on 29 September and 3–4 October, and the GSSSB CCE Prelims ends on 29 September. The GPSC Class 1-2 Mains, listed for 5–11 October in GPSC's July schedule, is on hold because of a High Court case (details below). GSSSB expects its CCE Mains in November 2026 and January 2027. All dates below come from GPSC's schedule of 4 July 2026, GPSC's notices of 27 August and September 2026, and GSSSB's official notices.

The September papers are in OMR mode, and call letters are downloaded from GPSC-OJAS. GPSC has revised dates in its July schedule before, so check the website for each call-letter notice.
The Class 1-2 Prelims was held on 7 June 2026. Its final answer key and the list of candidates qualifying for the Mains were published on 30 July. After that, petitions challenging some answers in the final key were filed in the Gujarat High Court. In a notice dated 27 August 2026, GPSC said the court's judgment will bind all candidates of Advt. 5/2026-27, and the Mains will be held only after it.
The Prelims Part-1 paper of Advt. 3 (ACF/RFO), Advt. 4 and Advt. 6 (Accounts Officer) was the same as the Advt. 5 paper. So GPSC will publish the Mains candidate lists for these three adverts only after the judgment too. As of 27 September 2026, GPSC has not announced new Mains dates.

The CCE covers 7,338 Class-3 posts. Prelims marks are only for screening. GSSSB calls seven times the category-wise vacancies to each Mains. The Mains months are from GSSSB's probable calendar and are not fixed dates. Group A has three descriptive papers (Gujarati 100, English 100, General Studies 150). Group B has one MCQ paper of 200 marks in 120 minutes. You need at least 40% in every paper, and GSSSB says this will not be lowered for any category.
GPSC: સંશોધન અધિકારી વર્ગ-2 (જા.ક્ર. 23/2026-27)ની પરીક્ષા 29/09/2026, ગ્રેજ્યુએટ એન્જિનિયર ટ્રેઈની વર્ગ-2 (GMB)ની 03/10/2026, તથા ભૂસ્તરશાસ્ત્રી વર્ગ-1, મદદનીશ ભૂસ્તરશાસ્ત્રી વર્ગ-2, આઈ.સી.ટી. અધિકારી, લીગલ ઓફિસર (મ.ન.પા.) અને વરિષ્ઠ ઔષધ નિરીક્ષકની પરીક્ષા 04/10/2026ના રોજ યોજાશે. કોલ લેટર GPSC-OJAS પરથી ડાઉનલોડ કરવાના રહેશે.
જાહેરાત ક્રમાંક 05/2026-27 (ગુજરાત વહીવટી સેવા વર્ગ-1, ગુજરાત મુલ્કી સેવા વર્ગ-1 અને 2, નગરપાલિકા મુખ્ય અધિકારી વર્ગ-2 – 213 જગ્યા)ની પ્રાથમિક પરીક્ષાની ફાઈનલ આન્સર કીના અમુક પ્રશ્નોના જવાબોને પડકારતી પિટિશન્સ ગુજરાત હાઈકોર્ટમાં દાખલ થઈ છે. આયોગની તા. 27/08/2026ની અગત્યની સૂચના મુજબ હાઈકોર્ટનો ચુકાદો આવ્યા બાદ જ આ જાહેરાતની મુખ્ય લેખિત પરીક્ષા યોજાશે. 4 જુલાઈના કાર્યક્રમમાં મુખ્ય પરીક્ષા 5 થી 11 ઓક્ટોબર, 2026 દર્શાવેલ હતી; 27 સપ્ટેમ્બર, 2026 સુધી નવી તારીખ જાહેર થઈ નથી.
મદદનીશ વન સંરક્ષક વર્ગ-2 અને પરિક્ષેત્ર વન અધિકારી વર્ગ-2 (જા.ક્ર. 3/2026-27), હિસાબી અધિકારી વર્ગ-1 (જા.ક્ર. 4/2026-27) તથા હિસાબી અધિકારી વર્ગ-2 (જા.ક્ર. 6/2026-27)ની પ્રાથમિક પરીક્ષાના ભાગ-1નું પેપર જા.ક્ર. 5/2026-27 જેવું જ હતું. તેથી આ ત્રણેય જાહેરાતની મુખ્ય લેખિત પરીક્ષા માટે પાત્ર ઉમેદવારોની યાદી હાઈકોર્ટનો ચુકાદો આવ્યા બાદ જાહેર થશે. 4 જુલાઈના કાર્યક્રમમાં આ મુખ્ય પરીક્ષા 13 થી 16 ડિસેમ્બર, 2026 દર્શાવેલ હતી, જે હાલ નિશ્ચિત નથી.
GSSSB: સંયુક્ત સ્પર્ધાત્મક પરીક્ષા (જા.ક્ર. 378/202526, ગ્રુપ A અને B, કુલ 7,338 જગ્યા)ની પ્રાથમિક પરીક્ષા 16 થી 29 સપ્ટેમ્બર, 2026 દરમિયાન CBRT પદ્ધતિથી લેવાઈ રહી છે. મંડળના સંભવિત કાર્યક્રમ મુજબ ગ્રુપ Aની મુખ્ય પરીક્ષા નવેમ્બર-2026 અને ગ્રુપ Bની મુખ્ય પરીક્ષા જાન્યુઆરી-2027માં યોજાઈ શકે છે. દરેક તબક્કા અને દરેક પેપરમાં ઓછામાં ઓછા 40% ગુણ જરૂરી છે.
નોંધ: GPSC અગાઉ પણ તારીખોમાં ફેરફાર કરી ચૂક્યું છે, તેથી પરીક્ષા પહેલાં સત્તાવાર વેબસાઇટ પર ખાતરી કરી લેવી.
