The board may increase or decrease the number of posts until the result is declared. Scheduled Area (अनुसूचित क्षेत्र) posts are only for local residents of Rajasthan's Scheduled Area; they may also apply for Non-Scheduled Area posts.
The tables give each category's posts and how they are split among general, women (general), widow and divorcee posts, with the ex-servicemen posts of the current year. Backlog rows are SC/ST posts carried over from earlier years. PwBD (a) blind / low vision, (b) deaf / hard of hearing, (c) locomotor disability and the related categories, (d) autism, specific learning disability, mental illness and multiple disabilities are shown as a / b / c / d below each table. The advertisement also prints ex-servicemen posts carried forward from earlier years; three of those cells in the Secondary Education Scheduled Area tables do not match the printed totals, so we have left that column out. Check the official advertisement for it.

All 32 posts are in Udaipur: backlog ST 5 and current 27 (UR 14, SC 1, ST 12).
On 28 October 2026 RSSB issued an amended advertisement (संशोधित विज्ञप्ति). It does one thing: the original advertisement showed the SC and ST backlog posts of Basic Computer Instructor, Scheduled Area (Secondary Education Department, Bikaner) without splitting them between men and women, so the board has re-issued that classification. The total posts stay 322 Senior and 3,629 Basic Computer Instructor, the district backlog totals are the same as in the advertisement, and the notice says the other conditions of the advertisement remain unchanged.

Qualifications are as per the Rajasthan Educational (State and Subordinate) Service (Amendment) Rules, 2021 (new "Group D", "Computer wing") and the Rajasthan Sanskrit Education State and Subordinate Service (School Branch) (Amendment) Rules.
Age is counted on 1 January 2027: you must be at least 18 and not yet 40 on that date.
Extra 3 years, Secondary Education posts only: the previous recruitment (2022) counted age on 1 January 2023 and none has been held since, so all applicants get 3 more years in the upper age for Secondary Education Department posts.
