The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the result of the Online Preliminary Examination for the Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officers / Management Trainees (CRP PO/MT-XVI). The result was published on the official IBPS website on 23 September 2026 as a "Result Status" login.
This recruitment is for vacancies of the financial year 2027-28 in the participating public sector banks. As per the latest IBPS corrigendum dated 27 August 2026, the indicative vacancy total stands at 7,565 posts. Union Bank of India has not reported its vacancies yet.
The preliminary exam carried 100 marks across English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability, with a separate time limit for each section. Candidates had to clear the cut-off in each of the three tests. Candidates shortlisted from this stage will appear in the Online Main Examination, which is followed by a Personality Test and a common interview.
