The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) declared the CBT-II (second stage) result of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment under CEN No. 01/2025 on 1 October 2026. The second stage computer-based test was held on 28 July 2026.
This result is a provisional shortlist for the third stage, the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). Each RRB publishes its own PDF listing the 16-digit roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for CBAT, together with the category-wise cut-off marks. Direct links for every RRB are in the table below. Candidates whose Part A score is above the cut-off but who did not qualify in Part B are not shortlisted, as per the CEN conditions.
You can also view your individual result / score card by logging in to the RRB portal with your Registration Number and Date of Birth. The notice says this facility is available only up to 16 October 2026. The result notice says the CBAT will be held any time after 25 October 2026, and RRB's CBAT schedule notice dated 1 October 2026 (PDF) gives the tentative CBAT date: 30 October 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be told to download their city intimation about 10 days before the exam, through the website, SMS and email.
This recruitment is for 10,970 Assistant Loco Pilot posts across the participating RRBs — originally 9,970 posts, raised to 10,970 by Corrigendum No. 2 (dated 21 May 2026).

Find the RRB you applied to and open its result PDF. The PDF links open our saved copy of that RRB's official file, downloaded from the RRB portal (rrb.indianrailways.gov.in) on 5 October 2026. RRB's own PDF links often show "Request Rejected" when opened from outside its website, so the first column takes you to the RRB's official page, where the same files are under CEN 01/2025 → Exam Results. Ajmer, Secunderabad and Thiruvananthapuram have put the result list under Selection List instead.
RRB Kolkata's CBT-II result was not on the RRB portal when we checked on 5 October 2026. Kolkata candidates should keep checking RRB Kolkata's page. If you are not sure which RRB you applied to, it is printed on your CBT-II call letter and in your application.

It is different for every RRB and every category — there is no single all-India cut-off — so always read the cut-off PDF of the RRB you applied to (links in the RRB-wise table above). The categories shown are UR, SC, ST, OBC, EWS and Ex-Servicemen (Ex-SM).
Example — RRB Bhopal (Assistant Loco Pilot), from its official cut-off PDF:

These figures are RRB Bhopal's only. Candidates of other RRBs will see different numbers in their own board's cut-off PDF.
The shortlist for the CBAT is purely provisional. Being called for the CBAT does not by itself give any right to appointment, and candidature can be cancelled at any stage for any discrepancy in the data or any malpractice. The selection stages for ALP are:
For the CBAT, bring the same photo ID in original that you gave in your application, and your vision certificate in original in the prescribed format (Annexure VIA of the CEN 01/2025 notification). Without them you will not be allowed to take the exam. RRB also asks candidates to keep their Aadhaar unlocked in the UIDAI system before going to the exam centre.
Keep checking your RRB's website and the registered mobile number and email for the CBAT city intimation and e-call letter.
RRB's notice dated 1 October 2026 gives the tentative CBAT date for CEN 01/2025 as 30 October 2026 (the result notice said any time after 25 October 2026). The link to see your exam city and date goes live 10 days before your exam date, and e-call letters about 4 days before that date.
10,970 Assistant Loco Pilot posts across the participating RRBs. The CEN originally notified 9,970 posts, raised to 10,970 by Corrigendum No. 2 dated 21 May 2026.
The CBAT shortlist is purely provisional. Qualifying candidates go on to Document Verification and a Medical Examination. Being called for the CBAT does not by itself give any right to appointment.
