GSSSB syllabus for the Gujarat Subordinate Services Class-3 Combined Competitive Exam, Group A & B (Advt. 378/202526, 7,338 posts), from the official notification and the 25 June 2026 detailed syllabus. The 150-mark Prelims is held from 16 to 29 September 2026 in CBRT mode; Group A has a descriptive Mains and Group B an MCQ Mains.
The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) published Advertisement No. 378/202526 on 3 February 2026 for the Gujarat Subordinate Services, Class-3 (Group A and Group B) Combined Competitive Examination. After two corrigenda (18 February and 27 February 2026), the exam covers 7,338 posts: 2,942 in Group A and 4,396 in Group B, as listed in Corrigendum-2.
GSSSB first published the Prelims syllabus on 13 February 2026. On 25 June 2026 it republished the complete Prelims syllabus with detailed topics for General Awareness and Current Affairs. The Prelims topics below follow that 25 June 2026 version. The Mains syllabus comes from Appendix G and Appendix H of the advertisement.
According to GSSSB’s call letter notice dated 8 September 2026, the Prelims is held from 16 to 29 September 2026 as an MCQ-CBRT (computer-based) test.

Prelims marks are not counted in the final merit list. GSSSB prepares separate Mains lists for Group A and Group B, calling seven times the category-wise vacancies. The minimum qualifying standard is 40% in every stage and every paper, and GSSSB says it cannot be set below 40% for any category (point 21 of the advertisement).

GSSSB’s probable exam calendar dated 2 July 2026 lists the Group A Mains for November 2026 and the Group B Mains for January 2027. These are probable months, not fixed dates.
