GSSSB will publish the provisional answer key (PAK) and response sheet of the Class-3 Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Prelims on Monday, 5 October 2026, by late night, on its website. The Board announced this in a notice dated 3 October 2026 (PDF) for Advt. 378/202526.
The Prelims for Group-A and Group-B posts was held from 16 to 29 September 2026 as a computer-based MCQ test (MCQ-CBRT), in several shifts, with different question papers. Before releasing the key, GSSSB is having subject experts check the questions, their options and the correct answers, so that the key has as few errors as possible and fewer objections are needed.
The key is not out yet. The notice does not give the objection dates, the fee or how to object. This page will be updated with the key and the objection details once GSSSB publishes them.

The Prelims had 150 questions of 1 mark each, in 120 minutes. Each question had four options. For every wrong answer, 0.25 mark is deducted. The deduction applies only to wrong answers, so a question you left blank costs you nothing.
Your raw score = number of correct answers − (number of wrong answers × 0.25). For example, 110 correct, 20 wrong and 20 left blank gives 110 − 5 = 105.
Your final Prelims marks may differ from this raw score. Because the exam ran in several shifts, GSSSB normalises the marks using the equi-percentile method (call letter notice of 8 September 2026). Its note on the normalisation method (7 September 2026) says that comparing raw marks across shifts of different difficulty would not be fair, and that a detailed explanation will be published later.
Minimum qualifying standard: 40%, which is 60 of 150. The advertisement says no category can be given a qualifying standard lower than 40%.
ગુણ ગણતરી: દરેક સાચા જવાબનો ૧ ગુણ, દરેક ખોટા જવાબ માટે ૦.૨૫ ગુણ કપાશે; નેગેટીવ માર્કીંગ ફક્ત ખોટા જવાબ પર છે. પરીક્ષા જુદી-જુદી શિફ્ટમાં લેવાઈ હોવાથી મંડળ Equi-percentile પદ્ધતિથી નોર્મલાઇઝેશન કરશે, એટલે આખરી ગુણ તમારા કાચા (raw) ગુણથી અલગ હોઈ શકે. લઘુત્તમ લાયકી ધોરણ ૪૦% (૧૫૦ માંથી ૬૦ ગુણ) છે.
કોલ લેટર સાચવી રાખો; મંડળની સૂચના મુજબ તે પરીક્ષાની આગળની કાર્યવાહી માટે ઉપયોગી છે. કોલ લેટર કન્ફર્મેશન નંબર અને જન્મ તારીખથી ડાઉનલોડ થયો હતો. રિસ્પોન્સ શીટ કયા લોગિનથી મળશે તે મંડળે હજુ જાહેર કર્યું નથી.
ગૃપ-A અને ગૃપ-B માટે મુખ્ય પરીક્ષાની અલગ-અલગ યાદી બનશે; પ્રાથમિક પરીક્ષાના મેરિટના આધારે કેટેગરીવાઇઝ જગ્યાના સાત ગણા ઉમેદવારો લાયક ગણાશે. પ્રાથમિક પરીક્ષાના ગુણ આખરી પસંદગી યાદી માટે ગણાશે નહીં.
