IBPS published the Prelims result status on 23 September and released the Main call letter the next day. It can be downloaded until 4 October. The Mains has four objective tests (Reasoning, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, English and Data Analysis, 200 marks in 160 minutes) plus a 30-minute descriptive paper (essay and comprehension) worth 25 marks. It runs for 3 hours 10 minutes in total, and IBPS advises you to expect about 4 hours at the venue.
Bring your authenticated/stamped Prelims call letter and a stamped copy of your ID proof along with the Mains call letter.
IBPS now calls the clerical post Customer Service Associate. The Prelims has 100 questions in 60 minutes: English (30), Numerical Ability (35) and Reasoning (35), each with a 20-minute sectional limit. You must clear the cut-off in all three. The notification lists September for the call letter, without an exact date.
For IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Officer, HR/Personnel and Marketing Officer posts. All Mains tests except Professional Knowledge are qualifying, so the merit list depends on your Professional Knowledge score alone. Put your preparation time there.
A corrigendum dated 21 September extended RRBs-XV registration to 27 September 2026. The Officer Scale-I Prelims has only 80 questions in 45 minutes: Reasoning (40 questions, 25 minutes) and Quantitative Aptitude (40, 20 minutes). The tests are offered in the languages listed for your state.
