RRC NWR Act Apprentice Recruitment 2026 (Notice 04/2026): Apply Online 23 October to 22 November

   Merit list

   Simple average of the Class 10 percentage (all subjects counted) and the ITI marks in the apprenticeship trade (from the provisional or final certificate). Prepared division/unit-wise, trade-wise and community-wise; no centralised merit list.

   Tie-break

   Equal marks: the older candidate first; same date of birth: the one who passed Class 10 earlier.

   Document verification and medical

   Held by the opted division/unit. Bring original certificates and a medical certificate in the Annexure-IV format signed by a Government Gazetted doctor not below Assistant Surgeon rank.

   Open the application portal

   Use the "click here to submit online application" link on RRC Jaipur's notifications page (www.rrcjaipur.in), which opens rrcactapp.in.

   Register

   Choose New Registration and fill in your details exactly as in your Class 10 certificate (name, father's name, date of birth). Keep your 12-digit Aadhaar number, an active mobile number and email ID ready.

   Choose one unit and your trade

   Check the slots for your ITI trade in that unit first; nothing can be changed after final submission.

   Upload photo and signature

   Colour photo 3.5 cm × 3.5 cm, not older than three months, JPG/JPEG, 100 DPI, 20–70 KB. Signature: 3.5 cm × 2.5 cm in the notice (the portal's How to Apply page says 3.5 cm × 3.5 cm), JPG/JPEG, 100 DPI, 20–30 KB.

   Pay the fee

   ₹100 online (nil for SC/ST, PwBD and women). If money is deducted but the form does not download, use the "Verify Payment" button. Print and keep the e-receipt; transaction charges, if any, are yours.

   Log in again later

   Use Applicant Login on rrcactapp.in (Select Login Option: "By Email Id & Password" or "By Email Id & Date of Birth"; "Reset Password?" if you forget it) to log in again, for example to complete the fee payment if the online transaction did not go through.

   Print the application

   Keep the printout and Registration Number; the printout is needed at document verification. You need not send any printout or certificate to RRC by post.

• Training period and stipend are as per extant rules and Railway Board directives; the notice does not give an amount.
• No hostel accommodation; selected candidates make their own arrangements.
• Before training starts, the candidate (or the guardian of a minor) signs a Contract of Apprenticeship with the employer.
• Apprenticeship gives no right to a Railway job afterwards; the employer is not obliged to offer employment.
• No TA/DA is paid for document verification.
• Request to change the division, unit or trade after selection will not be considered.

• Minimum height 137 cm, weight 25.4 kg, chest expansion not less than 3.8 cm. A candidate below these standards may still be engaged in a trade if a Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon (Gazetted) certifies in writing that they are physically fit for it.
• Colour vision: not required.
• Candidates with vision in one eye can train, except in seventeen trades listed in Annexure-IV.
• The full standards (eyes, ears, blood pressure and other systems) are in the Annexure-IV certificate format in the notification PDF.

• Helpline on the application portal: +91-9929595937 (Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM). The notice says it is not available on Sundays and holidays, and the last date, 22 November 2026, is a Sunday.
