RRB releases the exam city slip about 10 days and the e-call letter about 4 days before your exam. Expected dates for the JE, ALP and Paramedical CBTs, plus the Aadhaar rules that stop people at the gate.
RRB does not publish a single "admit card date". It releases your admit card in two parts, each tied to your own exam date. Once you understand that, you can work out when yours will open without waiting for a news alert.
Both come from the RRB CBT schedule notices. RRB calls the exam dates in those notices tentative.
These are worked out for the first day of each exam. If your exam is later in the window, your slip and call letter come correspondingly later.

RRB revised the JE CBT-I on 2 October: it is now on 27 and 28 October only, and 30 October was dropped. The JE city slip went live on 17 October. The RRB Paramedical CBT (CEN 05/2026) is tentatively on 23 and 25 November 2026 (notice of 18 October).

ALP CBT-1 and JE CBT-1 are screening stages: their marks shortlist you for CBT-2 but are not counted in the final panel. Section Controller candidates who clear the CBT take a Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), which has no negative marking. Minimum qualifying marks for all four are 40% for UR and EWS, 30% for OBC (NCL) and SC, and 25% for ST.
Read the Aadhaar rules in the notices as carefully as the admit card itself:
If you have locked your Aadhaar biometrics in the UIDAI app or website, unlock them before exam day. Otherwise the biometric check at the centre can fail.
Both the city slip and the e-call letter are released through the official RRB websites. Log in with your registration number and date of birth. Download them only from the official RRB websites, and ignore any site or message that asks for payment to "release" your admit card.
